Opening Garden of Highland Remedies
I went to Sugadaira Kougen in Nagano to attend for the opening garden event of my favorite cosmetic brand on 27th July 2024.
The brand’s name is “Highland-Remedies”.
I could see the owner of Highland-Remedies at the event.
He was a photographer before and he met natural herbs in England.
They grow natural herbs “Arnica” and “Calendula” for cosmetics by special method.
It’s named Biodynamic Forming .
They don’t use chemical fertilizer, pesticide and compost.
So there are no harmful insects in their garden.
We can find only good insects like butterflies and dragonflies.
There is no farms around the garden, so it is not affected by pesticides.
And the garden is in highland.
Because their herbs came from the highland in Europe that has cold weather.
Sugadaira Kougen is the best place to grow their herbs.
And the humidity is low despite Japan’s typically high humidity.
The air is very clear and calm. we can hear only bird’s chirping.
It’s very good environment. I would like to visit there next summer again.
My recommend their brand’s item is natural herb bath salt and calendula Cream. Give it a try!!
